Debate Term 4 Assignments

You will need to finish the following assignments for Term 4.

  1. You will need to turn in 6 current events.
    • For each current event the following must be present.
      • URL
      • 1 detailed paragraph summary
      • 1 paragraph opinion
    • You may turn them in electronically
      • File name shoudl be Period--Last Name--First Name--Assignment
    • You will need to choose one to three books, depending on how many pages they are.  You will be required to read 800 pages during this term.  
      • Most of these books will be available at a Library near you.  Some will be in the Timpview Library, others you may be required to go to the Provo or Orem Library.  You can also purchase any of these books from Amazon. You can usually get them from the Amazon Marketplace for a dollar or two.  You DO NOT have to buy them, but some of the more classic books might be good to have in your own personal library.
      • Choose a book from the list below and read it.  Then you will complete a book completion sheet that will be provided for each book you choose.
      • You will choose one book that you have read and you will do a presentation on that book. (Instructions to come later)
